French Bulldog Cheats Death in Heart-Stopping Car Collision

Hey there! So, there’s this adorable French bulldog who had a pretty close call recently, and the whole incident was caught on camera and shared on TikTok. The video has gone crazy viral, with over 7.6 million views at the time of writing!

In the clip, you can see the dog’s owner walking across their driveway, minding their own business. But out of nowhere, their playful pup named Boca darts past them and heads straight for the street. It seems like Boca spotted another dog on the other side and wanted to say hello.

Well, here’s where things get intense. Boca ends up running right under a passing car! It’s a heart-stopping moment, but thankfully, just as quickly as Boca disappeared under the car, they reappear and sprint back towards the safety of their house. Phew!

In a subsequent video, the dog’s owner reassures everyone that Boca is alive and well. They share a clip of Boca happily running around inside their home, showing no signs of the scary incident they just went through.

While Boca seemed to have escaped serious harm, not all dogs are so lucky when it comes to traffic accidents. There was actually a study published in 2017 that looked at 140 dogs injured in road accidents, and it found that about 83.2 percent of them survived. The study also highlighted that younger dogs tended to have lung contusions and limb fractures, while larger dogs were more prone to limb fractures. Smaller and older dogs, on the other hand, often suffered from pelvic fractures and sacroiliac luxation.

Back to the TikTok video, you can hear the owner expressing their stress and relief as Boca returns home. They mention that Boca got a little banged up, and they took them to a MedVet hospital, which cost them $430. But the good news is that Boca is doing fine, according to the owner. They jokingly mention that Boca might be a little “sick in the head,” but overall, they’re alright.
